Our Mission

To promote the humane treatment of companion animals in Okanogan County through spay/neuter, sheltering, community engagement, and education.

Team Okanogan Animal Rescue (TOAR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals and the people who care for them in Okanogan County, Washington.

In a community where approximately 17% of residents live below the poverty line and 12.4% of the population is Native American, TOAR plays a vital role in supporting both pets and their owners. With no county animal shelter, no county animal control officer, and minimal access to low-cost veterinary services, TOAR bridges critical gaps in animal welfare with essential services and support.
