TEAMING UP TO BUILD A HOME FOR THE ANIMALS

Team Okanogan is a newly created non-profit dedicated to building a shelter in Okanogan County, Washington. This community is in desperate need of a shelter to serve the thousands of lost and homeless animals that need assistance every year. ABOUT
Team Okanogan

Team Okanogan Animal Rescue is a registered 501(C)3 non-profit organization. We rely on sponsorships and donations to save lives.

We were founded in 2022 to improve the lives of animals in Okanogan County.  Despite being the largest county in the state of Washington, we have the fewest animal welfare resources. There are no publicly funded animal shelters, only a loose network of private rescues. In 2023, over 1,200 dogs and over 1,800 cats were served by the rescues working in this community.

OUR MISSION

To promote the humane treatment of companion animals in Okanogan County through spay/neuter, sheltering, community engagement, and education.

Adoptions

Spay, Neuter & Vaccines

Please visit the events page for our next low-cost spay neuter and vaccines event.

Fundraising

Funds are needed to support existing rescues and financing the construction of a new shelter facility. Please donate to be a part of the solution.

Contact one of our partner rescues to find your new family member by visiting the adopt page.

“Okanogan County is struggling with significant pet overpopulation issues, with very few resources available. They desperately need a holding shelter, so these abandoned and homeless animals have a safe place to go until they can be reunited with their families, adopted out, or transferred to other facilities.”
